HR·Administration

Q1. Please introduce yourself.

Hello, I’m HR·Administration Officer Hong, responsible for the HR·Administration department at M.Tech.

Q2. Could you explain your current responsibilities?

The HR·Administration department at M.Tech handles a wide range of tasks. Monthly tasks include various closing procedures, inventory management, quarterly tasks involve preparing for meetings, managing legal education, and annual tasks include certification management, facility inspections, evaluations, and more. It’s challenging to describe the HR·Administration tasks in an interview as there are always new situations arising that require immediate attention. Think of M.Tech’s HR·Administration as the ‘mother’ of the company.

Q3. Can you briefly mention the pros and cons of your current job?

HR·Administration involves both routine and constantly emerging tasks. Dealing with new challenges regularly provides opportunities to learn beyond the job scope. Collaborating with other departments, frequent communication with people, adds an enjoyable aspect to the work. However, for those new to the role, adapting to the constant influx of new tasks can be challenging. Also, if other departments are uncooperative, it can be stressful when tasks become difficult to resolve. Hello, I’m Manager Jeong, in charge of M.Tech’s Purchasing department.

Q2. Could you explain your current responsibilities?

In the Purchasing department, we formulate purchasing strategies and handle development procurement, procurement acquisition. Additionally, we are involved in selecting and managing partner companies, supply management, order management, and contract management. Towards the end of the month, we perform monthly closing procedures, and at the beginning of the month, we establish financial plans to proceed with our tasks.

Q3. Can you briefly mention the pros and cons of your current job?

The advantages of the job include the opportunity to examine various items while interacting with multiple companies, allowing for the development of expertise. Purchasing tasks are directly related to pricing, granting decision-making authority, and assuming responsibility for those tasks, providing a sense of accomplishment. On the downside, the job involves not only buying goods but also overseeing material procurement and delivery schedules, leading to a high workload. Moreover, if product quality issues arise, the responsibility for those problems can be demanding and create a sense of burden.
