M.Tech has innovatively overcome the drawbacks of conventional water-cooling systems.

This cooling technology is used to protect equipment exposed to temperatures exceeding 1000°C. By spraying a cooling fluid towards the opposite side of the steel plate exposed to high temperatures, it cools the equipment, preventing damage and extending its lifespan.

Safe Accessibility for Maintenance

The Nozzle Cooling System maintenance takes place on the Cold side. In other words, if holes or cracks occur on the steel plate exposed to high temperatures, workers can open the door and weld the leaking area without accessing the Hot side.

Enhanced Repairability

Opening the hatch door facilitates on-site temporary measures. Damaged parts that have undergone temporary repairs can be permanently fixed during regular maintenance, minimizing unexpected downtime.

Lightweight Design

The Nozzle Cooling System equipment is manufactured with thin steel plates, resulting in low weight.
– Compared to traditional tubular and jacket cooling methods, the equipment weight is approximately 1/3 less.
The cooling water capacity within the equipment is about half, alleviating the burden on the lifting and rotating devices of the electric arc furnace roof.
This extends the lifespan and reduces the risk of secondary accidents.

Economical Maintenance Cost

The Nozzle Cooling System allows for permanent use with a single production, and during repairs, only the internal steel plates need replacement.
